You study the Scriptures, because you think that in them you will find eternal life. And these very Scriptures speak about me! Yet you are not willing to come to me in order to have life. - Jesus

This section will explore the truths and myths about the Bible. Reader, please understand that this page was NOT created to discredit the Bible just to bring balance where balance is needed. Many in the church today have created a fourth Godhead out of the Bible. This is not healthy and in fact is a form of idolotry.
An article called Christians and the Bible. Great read and leaves us with much to think about!
Video: Toppling the House of Cards. Are you sure your faith is built on the Rock? Great teaching that exposes how faith in the Bible and not Jesus can fail us.
The Bible
An article called Dictated or Inspired. This article delivers some very shocking facts. If your faith in God rests in the Bible being perfect it will need a seat belt for this one.
Some time ago I was having a conversation with a non Christian friend and he made a statement that I will never forget. He said, "Seems to me like God is two differant Gods, one in the Old Tesament and another in the New"

I had all the pat Christian answers and was about to launch into them one by one and set this guy straight! But something stopped me. Just before I spoke I had one of those moments of clarity that we all have from time to time. It was like someone slapped me in the face and in one instant I realzsed that I was not satisfied with my own answers.

The difference between my friend and I at that time is he was being intellectually honest and I wasn't. I had to admit (and so would every other honest person) that he had a valid point. Because I knew this individual to be a thinking man and I knew my christian ease might actually push him away from Jesus, I said nothing.

If you are a Christian visting this page it is important to understand that all the facts and commentary you will find about the Bible here have already been found by most non Christians. Do you realize that some of your beliefs and boiler plate Christian answers are actually the reason  thinking people reject Christ?
Many years ago a young man pulled me aside after church. With a very serious look on his face he whispered, "I believe in Jesus and I have made Him Lord of my life but I am really worried". I asked him what it was that had him so concerned. He said, "Even though I love Jesus I don't think I can believe Jonah was in a fish for three days does that mean I am not going to heaven"?

I think a very important question that ALL believers should ask themselves is, do we have to believe the Bible is "perfect" to be saved? The New Testament saints did NOT even have a New Testament and in fact what we have come to know as the New Testament did not exist until about 300 years AFTER the death of Christ. Were all the believers before AD 300 really not saved?
If the Bible (in its entirety) is the Word of God why didn't ANY of the New Testament writers prophecy about it's comming? In fact why didn't Jesus himself warn us of the upcoming book? Why didn't Jesus say, "Hey guys in about 300 years God's Word will show up in book form and to know Me you will have to know the book"?

Why? Becuase JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD, NOT THE BIBLE.
An article about the canonization of the Bible. Very easy to read and includes good historical data. If you have ever wondered how the Bible was put together read this.

It's the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, not the Father, Son and Holy Bible - Bill Johnson
I think all Christians would agree that Jesus was in constant conflict with the religious of his day but have you ever wondered what the conflict was about? The scriptures -Selah
