Have you ever reached out for an honest answer to all the pain and suffering in this world only to be told; “God is sovereign” or “God is in control”? Did you find comfort in that answer? Did you find peace in being told that God is in control of murders, rapes, divorce, spousal abuse, child molestation, car accidents, wars, plane crashes, mental illness, birth defects and all other disasters and calamities? Is God really in control of all this? Is this what you've been told? If so, we have good news, God is much better than what you've been told.
Have you experienced suffering, tragedy and loss in your life and been told God is responsible? Have you been told that God brings sickness and disease to teach us something? Have you been told that God is punishing you because you don't live up to His standards? Have you lost a loved one only to be told that God had some secret plan in their death? If so we have good news, God is better than what you have been told.
